Apple just released the latest versions of its operating systems, macOS 13.2, watchOS 9.3, and iOS 16.3. The main new feature arriving with the latest software is support for Security Keys with Apple ID. This allows users to leverage a physical key to increase the security of their Apple ID and strengthen the security of their account by requiring a physical security key to sign in.

Security

macOS 13.2 also comes with 20 security fixes that prevent apps from accessing user-sensitive data, executing arbitrary code with kernel privileges, and more. You can check out the full list of security fixes here. In addition to security fixes, two other minor changes include bug fixes for Freeform and VoiceOver. Freeform had an issue where some drawing strokes created with Apple Pencil or your finger may not appear on shared boards, and VoiceOver might have stopped offering audio feedback while you are typing.

How to Update

You can update your device in System Settings > General > Software Update.
