It has been over a week since the release of iOS 16.3. We expected Apple to provide the first beta of iOS 16.4 on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday of this week, however, this did not happen.

Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time is when most betas are released, although Apple sometimes releases them on Mondays or Wednesdays. The first beta of iOS 16.4 will likely be released on Tuesday, February 7.

Possible iOS 16.4 Features

Possible iOS 16.4 Features include the following:

  • Apple Card Savings Accounts: Apple Card customers may be able to open a high-yield savings account through Goldman Sachs, where they can store accumulated Daily Cash.

  • Apple Pay Later: Qualifying customers in the United States may be able to split their purchases into four interest-free, equal payments over six weeks.

  • Apple Music Classical: Apple is working on a revamped classical music experience with a dedicated app.

  • Web-Based Push Notifications: We expect an iOS 16 update to add web-based push notifications, which will allow websites to send notifications through Safari, similar to Macs.

  • New Emojis: Apple is yet to add the Unicode 15 emojis, including a pink heart, moose, blackbird, jellyfish, flute, hyacinth, ginger, goose, donkey, and more.
